Europe Tour 1997 - Wooster Students with American Music Abroad

Mr and Mrs. Adams and 16 Wooster High School Band students toured through Europe in the Summer of 1997. Students were selected by nomination and audition to perform with a Band and Choir made up of students from throughout Ohio.

Sponsored by American Music Abroad, the trip was centered around performances in concert halls and public venues throughout Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

The students had no problem mixing with the locals.

The Dom zu Salzburg was just one of the many grand cathedrals visited during the tour. Of note are the 5 organs that were constructed to conform to a composition by W.A. Mozart, written specifically for performance in the cathedral.

This historic foot bridge was recently restored after a tragic fire.
