Wooster High School has been fortunate to have in place an Orchestra program. By keeping the program in place through the years, many students have had the opportunity to experience orchestral music. Because of our location in Ohio, students have the chance to play in area youth orchestras, in such places as Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and Mansfield. A number of students perform with the Wooster Symphony Orchestra as well. |
Marvin Fogt took charge of the Wooster High School Orchestra in the 1960's and into the 70's. His influence was felt by many students in the old rehearsal room on Bowman Street.
