Dear Parents,
The Wooster High School Bands and Orchestra will travel to New York City
from April 11 through 14, 2002. A trip such as this is a fabulous opportunity
for our students. We are pleased that your son or daughter will take part.
Because we are leaving early Thursday morning, we will miss two days of school
and will return Sunday night. Our trip consists of the following exciting
opportunities:
Clinics at Juilliard/Lincoln Center
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
American Museum of Natural History
Empire State Building
Performance at a New York Mets game (pending baseball schedule)
Broadway ShowThree Breakfasts and Three Dinners
September 28 $100.00 Deposit
November 15 $200.00 2nd Payment
February 20 $225.00 3rd Payment (or balance)
Checks should be made payable to : "WHS Music Parents"
Students who have money in their accounts from last years sales may wish to use this money for the deposit (and/or other payments). Balances are posted in the music room.
We will have the following fundraisers so that each student can raise money
for their own individual account kept here at school:
Shirt/Hat Fundraiser - (September 5)
Pancake Breakfast (December 15)
Citrus Sale (January 11)
Any funds from last years sales may also be used towards cost of the trip.
More information will follow concerning the trip, including a complete handbook with expectations, itinerary and other helpful information. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
