• We are the parent group for the Wooster High School Music Department. Our goal is to support all areas of the High School's music program; bands, choirs, and orchestra. We aide in fundraising activities for uniforms, equipment, and educational travel; publicize concerts and events; chaperone trips; and much, much more.

Summer Music Scholarships

• The WHS Music Parents Association sponsors yearly scholarships to students in the WHS music program. Awards are made available to all students in the High School music program. Students are selected by audition and receive monetary awards for summer camps and workshops. [2007 Scholarship Recipients]

Scholarships for Private Study

• Private study is a very important means to becoming proficient on an instrument or voice. The Wooster High School Music Parents Association has established this fund to encourage students who might otherwise not have the opportunity to take private lessons. Scholarships are intended for students who have indicated a sincere desire to become better musicians and are available to students of all grade levels throughout the district.

Pay-To-Participate Financial Assistance

• The WCS Board of Education has instituted a Pay-To-Participate Fee of $100 for enrollment in Band, Choir & Orchestra. Funds will be available through the Greater Wayne County Foundation. Contact the WHS Athletic Office for materials.
