Dear Parents,
The Wooster High School Marching Band and Orchestra will travel to Walt Disney
World in Orlando, Florida from April 1st through 6th, 2004. A trip such as
this is a fabulous opportunity for our students. We are pleased that your son
or daughter will take part.
Because we are leaving on Thursday afternoon, we will miss only the last day
of school prior to Spring Break. Our trip consists of the following exciting
opportunities:
• Magic Kingdom
• Epcot
• Disney-MGM Studios
•
Blizzard Beach (Disney’s water park)
• Animal Kingdom
• Three Breakfasts, Four Dinners
• Parade Performance by the Marching Band
•
“You’re Instrumental” workshop with the Orchestra
The cost of the trip will be $520. It is possible that this amount could fluctuate $5 in either direction as more details of the trip become evident. This would effect the final payment. One important purpose of this letter is to inform you of a need for a $100 non-refundable deposit due on September 26 from every student and chaperone. The entire payment schedule is as follows:
September 26 $100.00 Deposit
November 14 $200.00 2nd Payment
February 12 * $220.00 3rd Payment (or balance*)
Checks should be made payable to : “WHS Music Parents”
Students who have money in their accounts from last year’s sales may
wish to use this money for the deposit (and/or other payments). Balances are
posted in the music room.
We will have the following fundraisers so that each student can raise money
for their own individual account kept here at school:
• Shirt Fundraiser (September 9)
• Pancake Breakfast (December 13)
• Citrus Sale (January 9)
• Any funds from last year’s sales may also be used towards cost of trip
More information will follow concerning the trip, including a complete handbook with expectations, itinerary and other helpful information. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
